Why You Need to Set Peace of Mind as Your Highest Goal

“Set peace of mind as your highest goal and organize your life around it.” Those words were spoken by Brian Tracy. His words have changed my life and I am positive that they can change your life too. During my tougher days, I repeat this phrase to myself and remember what my ultimate goal is – peace of mind.

SIX WAYS I FIND PEACE OF MIND

  1. 60 minutes of exercise each day.
  2. 30 minutes of quiet time each day.
  3. Not reacting when people frustrate me.
  4. Writing in my planner every day.
  5. Realizing that rest is time well spent.
  6. Spending quality time with my family.

These six things bring my life happiness, calm, and definitely peace of mind. My main goal each day is to make sure that these six things are taken care of. If one of these is missing, life can easily become chaotic. A chaotic life does not lead to success, but a peaceful life does. If you set peace of mind as your highest goal, your thoughts will become clear, and you will be mentally ready to reach the success that you are more than capable of. You absolutely need peace of mind so that you can accomplish your goals and be the person you want to be.

I encourage you to take some time today and write down six ways that you find peace of mind in your own life. What makes you feel happy? What makes you feel quiet and content? Write it down. Read and reread that list until you have it memorized – it will change your life and help you discover the peaceful and successful person you were always meant to be.
